Beverly Lou Graeber

Beverly Lou Graeber, 86, of Jonesborough, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born to the late Robert and Helen (Burton) Smithson on May, 19, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Myers.

Beverly was a member of Trinity Covenant Brethren Church until its closure and was attending Boones Creek Covenant Brethren Church. She retired as Bookkeeper of the Southeastern District Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Graeber; daughter, Susan Cannon (Boomer); son-in-law, Chris Myers; grandchildren, Heather Newton (Scott), Jill Fox (Jonathon), Michael Crouch, Megan Burnette (Brandon); and her great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Nicollete, Harper, Kennedy, Michael David.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the scholarship program "Hope for the Future" that Beverly was passionate about.

A memorial will be held Saturday, February 8, 2024, at Boones Creek Covenant Brethren Church with Pastor Scott Kinnick and Pastor Phillip Graeber officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
