Bobby Joe Ayers

Mr. Bobby Joe Ayers, age 85, of Limestone, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the residence of his daughter. He was born in Limestone, TN, to the late Estel and Arvilla Ramsey Ayers. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Ayers; and brother, Albert Ayers.

He was Boiler Operator at North American Rayon, Pipe Fitter, and a life long farmer. Bobby attended Grace Brethren Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a part of the GWRRA Club until his health no longer permitted, farming still remained his life-long passion.

Bobby is survived by his children, Bill Ayers (Penny), and Beth Ayers; grandchildren, Gary Joe Malone (Krystal), Cody Ayers (Emily), and Austin Ayers (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Kane Malone, Jaxon Ayers, Bonnie Ayers, and Wyatt Ayers; one sister, Ola Mae Metcalf; special neighbor and friend, Roger Barker; along with several nieces and nephews.

The Ayers family will receive friends on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Grace Brethren Church - 3337 Hwy 11 E Telford, TN 37690, from 1 PM - 2 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 2 PM with brother Roger Barker and Pastor Dave Blevins officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow the Funeral in Grace Brethren Church Cemetery. Gary Joe Malone, Cody Ayers, Austin Ayers, Chris Akers, and Mike Winters will serve as pallbearers.
