Candy Ward

Candy Ward, 52, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday afternoon, January 13, 2025, at NHC in Johnson City. She was born to Elizabeth Helen Bacon and the late John F. Ward. In addition to her father, Candy was preceded in death by her boyfriend, Mark Whitaker. She attended Highland Church of Christ. Candy enjoyed cartoons and her trips to Wal-Mart.

In addition to her mother, Candy is survived by her aunt, Jerri Bacon; special friends, Ruth and J.D. Hensley, Joe Sparks, and Betty Boozer; along with several cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Highland Church of Christ - 485 Highland Church Rd. Johnson City, TN 37615, from 1 PM - 2 PM. Graveside Service will follow the Visitation in Highland Church Cemetery with Pastor Byron Paddock officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
