Shane Christopher Greene went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 10th, 2025. He was born June 9 th , 1968.
Shane attended David Crockett High School and worked for Lighting Resources for 6 years. He loved working on his Dad’s farm after school.
He also loved sitting home drinking cups of coffee and watching Andy Griffith, Little House on the Prairie, and his new favorite, Dallas.
Shane believed in working hard and providing for his family. He loved a good conversation and a good laugh. He loved going to the flea market and spending time with his grandchildren when he was able to.
He was with his fiancée for 12 years and loved her dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Greene, and his father, Hubert Greene.
Shane is survived by his fiancée Betty Reynolds, son Adam (Katie) Greene, daughter Whitney Miller, brothers Ray (Wilma) Greene, Charles Greene, Terry Greene, and Ronnie Greene, sister Ruth (Richard) Bailey, stepson Christopher Sparks, stepdaughters Christina (Brandon) Dykes, Geneva (Will) Perkey, Anita (Salvador) Romero, brother-in-law Bodhi Reynolds, Tommy (Joe) Reynolds, Eddie (Vicki) Reynolds, sister in laws Tammy (Jimmy) Edgerton, Debra (Jessie) Morrell, Gloria Stines, Darlene Sherffey,
Lois Hicks, Gwen (J.D) Cowan, Lynn (Bob) Goddard, Regina (Benny) Glover, Judy (Tim) Hegasi, Tina Akers, several grandchildren Blake Greene, Rosalee Greene, Sammy Greene, step-grandchildren Jessiona Sparks, Isabella Martz, Ariona Sparks, Noah Sparks, Landon Sparks, Gabriel Sparks, Phyllis Sparks, Keon Sparks, Samuel Romero, Noel Romero, Jordan Romero, Mia Romero, Miley Akers, Angela Akers, Heaven Akers, Jayden Akers, and Pocahontas Akers. He also had several nieces, nephews, friends, cousins, and baby to be. He had a special niece Robin Bailey. He was very close to his supervisors, Greg Bryant, Steve, John and various other co-workers.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the family to cover expenses.
Funeral service for Shane will be Sunday February 16, 2025 3:00 PM at Jonesborough Funeral Home, with Pastor Eddie Reynolds officiating. The family will receive Friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service. Graveside will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
