Clarence "Norman" Dickerson, 74, of the Ducktown community, passed away on Thursday afternoon, April 10, 2025, at the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center after a period of declining health. He was born to the late Clarence and Lorena (Baker) Dickerson. Norman proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved farming and was a life-long diary farmer.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his two brothers, Richard and Jerry Dickerson; special nephew, Joe Dickerson; and special uncle, Paul Dickerson.
He is survived by his daughter, Hailie Dickerson; loving caregivers, sister, Judy Palmer and husband Steve; brother, Donnie Dickerson and wife Jill; nephew, Matthew Dickerson and wife MaryCatherine; brother-in-law, Lee Odom; sister-in-law, Vicky Dickerson; along with several nieces and nephews. Norman is also survived by an estranged wife, Michelle Dickerson; and step-son, Josh Dowling.
The Dickerson family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Cherry Hill Free Will Baptist Church - 470 Ducktown Rd. Limestone, TN 37681, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Will Easler officiating. Committal Service and Interment will follow the Funeral in Cherry Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Matthew Dickerson, James Helbert, Austin Willet, Lee Odom, Wayne Harris, and Brandon Gregg will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Dickerson, Bit Keys, Jimmy Rector, Tony Anderson, Eddie Renner, Ronnie Crawford, and Steve Dickerson.
