Floyd Roger Crain, 74, of Jonesborough, passed away on Tuesday morning, February 25, 2025, at his home after a period of declining health. He was born to the late Elmer and Lucy (Saults) Crain.

Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life-long farmer. Floyd worked part-time at Wal-Mart for seventeen years in the produce department. He also worked at B and B Produce, The Washington Farmers Co-Op, and Mountain States Laundry ,his favorite saying was "Its 5 O'clock Somewhere." Floyd was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Felita Crain; sister, Elanor "Penny" Dixon; and brother-in-law, Gary "G.L." Lowry.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Teresa Crain; daughter, Felicia Crain (Mike Collins); son, Toby Crain (Chandra Campbell); grandchildren, Michaela Crain, Katie Lowe, Ely Lowe, and Karina Campbell; sister, Shirley Lowry; along with several nieces and nephews.

The Crain family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at 8:00 P.M. with Pastor Keith Malone and Pastor Jamie Ferguson officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Sulphur Springs Cemetery beginning at 12:00 P.M. Jacob Perhne, Matthew Perhne, Freddie Wilcox, Tony Ludwig, Bruce Tyree, and Ely Lowe will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Templeton, Mike Collins, and his Wal-Mart Crew. Everyone who plans to attend the Committal Service is asked to meet at the Funeral Home by 11:30 A.M. to go in procession to the cemetery.
