In the wee hours of April 29, 2024, surrounded by love, Lady Lorinda Lynne Cooter Davis gracefully completed her years-long battle with cancer.
She was 29 years old (if you disagree, mind your business), a mother, a nurse, a daughter, a sister, a friend. She worked as a nurse in many facets, but her favorite was the emergency department. She sang beautifully, and was loved deeply by all who knew her. She was a lover of romance novels, lemon Yoplait, Harry Potter, Glee, her family and friends, and embarrassing those she loved on purpose.
Awaiting her on the other side were her sister Joey, her partner Franklin, her aunt Ruthie, her favorite dogs, and her grandparents (maternal and paternal).
Left behind to remember her are her children, Dodger and Jonah Kirkland and Owen and Eryn Davis, her parents, Eugene and Roberta Cooter, her sisters from other misters, Kristy and Marissa Gilbuena, aunts and uncles Mike and Nancy Ward and Edward and Carol Larmore, cousins, dogs, and an abundance of special, wonderful friends.
In lieu of a funeral, Lady Lorinda requested a celebration of life, which will be planned in the coming weeks or months.
Jonesbrough Funeral Home & Cremation Services honored to assist the Davis family.
