Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Woods, age 49, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mary was a native of Poga, TN, and the daughter of Jerry and Deloris Cable Hicks.
Mary was a Therapist who loved her job. She was an active member of The National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She enjoyed her support group "Colon Town". Mary also enjoyed playing Animal Crossing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include, in addition to her parents, her husband Jonathan Woods, children Mikayla Christina-Ann Woods and Dorian Joseph Woods; grandchildren Braylon, Kiara, and Kason Woods; and one sister, Amanda Glover.
Memorial service for Mary will be Friday, December 20, 2024 2:00 PM at Jonesborough Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Cable officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
