Nathan Chambers Jr., 84, of Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday morning, August 31, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born to the late Nathan Sr. and Bonnie (Birchfield) Chambers in Roan Mountain, TN.
Nathan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He retired from Harris Tarkett in Johnson City, after over forty years of service.
In addition to his parents, Nathan was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Chambers; oldest daughter, Carolyn Evans; granddaughter, Talithia Foster; one brother; and several sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Harmon (Robert), Jill Perry (Pete); grandchildren, Allison Foster (Chase), Hali Allen (Cole), Libbie Daniel (Collin), and Nathaniel Perry; great-grandchildren, Shiloh, Savannah, and Seelie; sisters, Judy Smith, Barbara Lacy (Earl); along with several nieces and nephews.
The Chambers family will honor Nathan's life with a private Graveside Service at a later date.
The Chambers family would like to extend a special thank you to American House Senior Living staff members Tammy, Vanessa, Anna Marie, and Duane. They would also like to thank Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and the nurses in the Burn Unit.
In lieu of flowers, the Chambers family has requested that donations be made in Nathan's memory to the SECU Family House 1970 Baldwin Ln. Winston - Salem, NC 27103.
