Penney Marie Bohlander

Penney Marie Hubbard Bohlander, 63, of Jonesborough, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 15, 2024, at Four Oaks Healthcare Center after a period of declining health. She was born to the late Robert and Helen Marie (Tipton) Hubbard. In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her grandson, Gabriel Hubbard. She worked for many years at Anderson Nursing Home until her health no longer permitted. Penny was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to read and listen to music.

Survivors include her daughter,, Tasha Torres (Manuel Casarez); son, Kyle Weese; grandson, Matteo Hubbard; sister, Lora Ann McClure (Danny); brother, Michael Hubbard (Jenny); special friend, Shelia Crowe; along with several nieces and nephews.

Penney's family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m. The family requests that you wear your most colorful party attire on Friday night in honor of Penney.

The Bohlander family would to extend a special thank you to the staff of Four Oaks Healthcare Center.

In lieu of flowers the Bohlander family has requested that donations be made in Penney's memory to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library or to a charity of your choice.
