Randy Jackson

Mr Randy Lynn Jackson, Jonesborough, age 57, passed away Saturday December 9, 2023 at his residence.

Randy was the son of the late Acie and Mildred Perrigan Jackson. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Alice Wise and Linda Stewart, brothers Dale and Wayne Jackson, and a stepson Issac Hashbarger; Sister-in-laws Wilma, Ann, and Teresa Jackson

He loved deer hunting and going fishing. He was a carpenter and operator for J.A. Street for many years. Illness forced him to retire in January 2018 after just marrying the love of his life September 2017.

Survivors include his wife Sheila, daughters Ashlee Jackson and Chasidy Bennett (Tim Hare), sisters Helen, Betty and Diane Jackson, brothers, Harold (Sarah) Jackson, Rob Jackson, Jim (Evelyn) Jackson, Steve (Holly) Jackson, brother-in-law Wade Wise, very special buddy and caretaker, Mason, the one who always kept him on his toes, Dixie, and several nieces, nephews. and great nieces, great nephews.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to his best friend, caregiver, fishing girl and more Chasidy Bennett whom he called his daughter.

The Jackson family will receive friends Monday December 11, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Jonesborough Funeral Home, Funeral service will follow at 7 PM, Graveside service will be held Tuesday December 12, 2023 at 1 PM at Oak Hil Cemetery in Jonesborough TN.
