Shirley Joan Williford

Mrs. Shirley Williford, age 83, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at her residence with her family by her side. She was a native of Unicoi County and the daughter of the late Willie "Bill' and Janiva Dunbar Blevins. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and two grandchildren.

She was a member of Embreeville Cove Missionary Baptist Church. She loved being around her family.

Survivors include her children, Sheila Wood and her husband John, Johnny Williford, and Joey Williford; grandchildren, Misty Southerland, Kimberly Lane, and Britany Williford; seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; one sister, Katherine Robertson, two brothers, Billy Blevins and Keith Blevins; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM Saturday October 12, 2024 at Jonesborough Funeral Home 1776 Hwy 11-E Jonesborough. The Graveside will follow at Bumpass Cove Cemetery with Pastor Brain Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
