Stanley VanDyke

Stanley VanDyke, 70, of Telford, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born to Sarah (Cloyd) VanDyke and the late Raymond VanDyke. In addition to his father, Stanley was preceded in death by his sisters, Teresa Seaton, and Debbie Hodge; and one brother, Mike VanDyke. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Stanley enjoyed remodeling houses, working outside, traveling, and running around on Sunday afternoons, with Beverly.

In addition to his mother, Stanley is survived by his siblings, Kenny VanDyke (Debbie), Larry VanDyke (Jean), Jackie Vanover (Byron), Shane VanDyke (Marsha), and Hope Grindstaff (Jonathan); special friend, Beverly Deaderick; several nieces and nephews and his special pet companion, Bandit.

The VanDyke family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church - 586 Mt. Wesley Rd. Telford, TN 37690, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor John H. Moore officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be on Thursday, April 3, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
